Configure party role and type on a case detail page

You can limit which party role and type can be selected as available values for new cases by defining the role and type in the Primary Party field.

  1. Double-click (or drag and drop) the Primary Party field in the Available fields pane to add it to the case detail page.
  2. Set party type and party role:
    1. Right-click the Primary Party field, and select Advanced to open the Set default party values dialog.
    2. Select values for Type and Party role, and then click Apply.

      You can add multiple types, enabling you to expand the list in the field from different types, for example selecting Companies (with CVR) and Companies (without CVR) will enable a user to select a primary party from both types.
  3. Optionally, make other changes to the Party field. For example, select a default party value, or change the required settings of the fields in the same way as you change any other field.
  4. Click Apply to save your changes.
